
Educator & Community Engagement Manager
Jackie is an accomplished educational leader with a proven track record in transforming PK-12 public schools and districts through innovative organizational structures, collaborative stakeholder engagement, and a commitment to data-driven instructional solutions. As a proud graduate of Alabama State University, Troy University, and Grand Canyon University, she holds degrees in Elementary Education, PK-12 Instructional Leadership, and Organizational Leadership.
She was named the Selma City Schools’ 2024 District Leader of the Year, a 2022 National Model School Principal, and Alabama’s 2021 Distinguished Educator of the Year, Phi Delta Kappa.
In September 2024, she began leading Amira’s research initiatives in some of the nation’s largest school districts, focusing on student implementation. In October 2025, she became the Educator & Community Engagement Manager at Amira where she leads the Amira Champions Community, produces the podcast series, “Champion Every Voice” and works on building Amira's impact story interviews. In addition, she also serves as a super trainer and evangelist alongside Amira co-founder and CEO, Mark.
