One of my favorite leadership books is called Good to Great by Jim Collins. It has been out for awhile but that is okay. It still applies. The book is based upon 10 years of research pertaining to corporations that the researchers identified as being good companies that became great companies. I have three favorite parts of this book:
1. The Right Seat on the Bus
2. Big Hairy Audacious Goals
3. Hedgehog or a Fox

The fox tries many ways to get the hedgehog but constantly fails because the hedgehog knows that it needs to be good at the one thing that will save it from the fox. The hedgehog is awesome at its defense and as a result the fox fails. Learn more by reading the book.
